Home Cooked Meals

Most meals are homemade, with the occasional mac n cheese or corn dog. Home-cooked meals play a vital role in promoting health, connection, and well-being. Preparing food at home encourages healthier eating habits, promotes portion control, and utilizes fresh, wholesome ingredients. Beyond nutrition, sharing meals fosters stronger family bonds, creates lasting memories, and provides an opportunity to slow down and connect. Cooking at home also teaches valuable life skills, such as budgeting and time management, and nurtures a sense of accomplishment and care. I participate in the USDA food program, which serves as the basis for all our meals.
