Twice a week, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will all go on an adventure outside of the neighborhood. We try to correlate our outings with our monthly and weekly themes. We might go places like OMSI, the zoo, a splash pad, the library, a local farm, or even a play place! Adventures are a powerful form of experiential learning, offering unique opportunities for personal growth and education beyond the classroom. Whether exploring new cultures, navigating unfamiliar terrains, or facing challenges, each adventure teaches resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Engaging with diverse environments fosters curiosity and empathy, as individuals learn to appreciate different perspectives and traditions. Furthermore, adventures often require teamwork and communication, enhancing social skills and building connections with others. Through exploration and discovery, adventures inspire a lifelong love for learning and empower individuals to embrace the world around them.
